One of the finer Fort Lauderdale restaurants, Alfiere’s Mediterranean Bistro, offers boardwalk dining in a lively, upbeat atmosphere that offers beautiful views of the lagoon. With the health-conscious consumer in mind, Alfiere’s SuperFoods menu has freshness at its core. The goal is to follow the Westin brand by introducing guests to the Westin values of eating well, feeling well, and working well. Alfiere’s also plans to introduce guests to local Fort Lauderdale cuisine by adding-in some popular traditional recipes with a modern spin. Executive Chef, Alex Sanchez is passionate about featuring dishes that incorporate revitalizing ingredients that are rich in nutrients and antioxidants. Several revisions have been made to the menus at Alfiere’s Mediterranean Bistro, which allow guests delicious options throughout the day.
Guests wake up to nourishing dishes that satisfy any appetite; including, Muesli topped with fresh berries, walnuts and pomegranate sauce; Poached Egg Burger with hearty beef pastrami, roasted tomato arugula and walnut aioli; and fresh juices and protein-packed smoothies highlighting “superfood” ingredients such as Coconut Water, kale and Almond Milk. Heading into the evening guests experience the same focus on fresh ingredients, with light and filling fare such as fresh fish tacos, Quinoa crusted chicken breast, and Chef Sanchez’s favorite, flame grilled skirt steak with a chimichurri sauce and side of baked yucca.
