JEY Hospitality Group To Host Chef Takeover Beer Pairing Dinner With J. Wakefield Brewing

JEY Hospitality Group will host a Chef Takeover beer pairing dinner in collaboration with Wynwood’s recognized J. Wakefield Brewing. Taking place at Himmarshee Public House on Thursday, January 14th, the six-course sit-down dinner will feature dishes created by chefs from TacoCraft, PizzaCraft, Himmarshee Public House and all three ROK:BRGR locations. The participating chefs will prepare dishes paired with a J. Wakefield Brewing craft beer while a brew master and chef discusses each of the beers and pairings. Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase the beers on tap following the dinner, while supplies last.
The evening’s six-course menu pairings will feature:

First Course: Roasted Poblano Pepper, Oaxaca Cheese, Tamarind, Chipotle Braised Pork and Smoky Tomato Salsa – prepared by Chef Jaime Diaz, TacoCraft.
Paired with Power Up Peach (IPA)

Second Course: House Blend Prime Patty, Thin Sliced Roasted Pork Loin, Swiss Cheese, Fried Toston and Mojo Aioli – prepared by Chef Herkio Bezerra, ROK:BRGR South Miami. 
Paired with El Jefe (Hefeweizen)

Third Course: Smoked Country Pate, Tarragon-Dijon and Pickled Vegetables – prepared by Chef Tara Abrams, ROK:BRGR Hallandale Beach.
Paired with Hop For Teacher (IPA)
Fourth Course: Veal Medallions, Soft Polenta Ravioli, Chanterelle Mushrooms, Foie Gras Soubise and Fried Sage – prepared by Chef Danny Hernandez, PizzaCraft.
Paired with Amber Waves (Amber Ale)
Fifth Course: Smoked & Grilled House Blend Prime Patty, Aged Manchego Cheese, Citrus, Kumquat & Mate Tea Marmalade, Red Watercress, Dill Pickle on a Green Tea Glazed Doughnut Bun – prepared by Chef Rodrigo Velazco, ROK:BRGR Fort Lauderdale.
Paired with Mate Bliss (Brown Ale)
Sixth Course: Chocolate Coconut Porter Cookie Bar with Toasted Coconut Cream Glaze – prepared by Chef Nicolas Koska, Himmarshee Public House.
Paired with Coconut UJP (Porter)
