For the second year, Chef Daniel Boulud’s DBGB Kitchen and Bar has ‘popped up’ at db Bistro Moderne Miami, offering DBGB’s house-made sausages, burgers, signature Baked Alaska and whimsical ice cream sundaes. On Wednesday, July 15th, they invite guests to celebrate the summer with a family-style whole hog beer dinner.
The Whole Hog Feast will start with traditional Tarte Flambée and Charcuterie. The second course includes Iceberg Wedge, Kale Salad and Tuna Crudo. From there, guests will dig in to a Slow-Roasted Suckling Pig presented tableside and stuffed with pork loin, Swiss chard, confit tomato, and olives. Each piggy is accompanied by Swank Farms seasonal vegetables like roasted corn, grilled asparagus, and decadent grand-mere potatoes. Finish the evening off with DBGB’s signature Baked Alaska flambéed with Grand Mariner, Peach Melba and Black Forest Sundaes.
Jonathan Wakefield, of J. Wakefield Brewing will be the evening’s special guest working with db Bistro sommelier Alan Feldman to pair his craft beers with Chef Jason Pringle’s cuisine. The acclaimed Miami brewery will server four beers including Pineapple Kolsch, Black Indian Pale Ale, Belgian-Style Triple and Coconut La Nada Russian Imperial Stout.
For those unable to attend the Whole Hog Feast, the DBGB menu will be available daily in the bar and lounge from 4-8pm through July 31st.
