Many of us have been highly anticipating the opening of The Wynwood Yard, a hub for Miami’s most talented food and beverage entrepreneurs to introduce innovative culinary concepts to the Miami community.
Having met Della Heiman a year ago while taste testing her concept Della’s Bowls, I was extremely excited when I heard she was putting together a pop-up entrepreneurial hub that was going to be more than just a culinary incubator. Having just opened last month, The Wynwood Yard is set to be open to the public until 2016 on 70 NW 29th St.
According to Heiman the The Wynwood Yard is, “This is the kind of space where you can engage in activities all day. Meet with local entrepreneurs for lunch in the afternoon and work on Wi-Fi network with your laptop, then sip on Lemon City Tea at tea time. In the evening, gather your friends and savor food and wine on a picnic blanket under the stars while enjoying live music or a speaker series.”
Not to mention, Heiman was able to work with some pretty awesome local culinary experts like Brad Kilgore, Julie Frans, Samuel Gorenstein, Michelle Bernstein, Norman Van Aken, Ken Lyon, and Manuel Sulbaran on the initiative.
When it comes to food, right now there are a few delicious food trucks you can check out. You have The Arabian Knife serving up Middle Eastern cuisine; Myumi offering Japanese omakase sushi; Vibe 305 is giving us Americana-inspired cuisine, with chef-mentoring by Brad Kilgore; and, lastly, you have Della's Test Kitchen, which is offering globally-inspired plant based dishes.
Behind each plate of food that we savor lies an intricate story. Head over to The Wynwood Yard to become a part of the narrative.
