Everyday really cool places are popping up all over Miami – from Little Havana to South Beach – these bars are bringing anything and everything any Miamian or tourist could ask for.
So read, grab a cocktail and enjoy!
Ball & Chain in Little Havana
1513 SW8th St. | Little Havana, FL
The building where Ball & Chain is was actually constructed back in the 1930s in the middle of the Depression, when construction was at a complete standstill. But in 1967 it became a furniture store until now. The bar will now return back to its glory days by serving us pastelito-infused drinks, tons a great Cuban music… oh and did I mention they have a Calle Ocho Old Fashioned, which has aged rum, demerara sugar, tobacco bitters and leaves?
The Rum Line on South Beach
Lowes Hotel | 1601 Collins Ave. | Miami Beach, FL
You have to keep an eye out for this bar. It is set to open at the Lowes sometime this fall – I will definitely keep you updated. When you get to this outdoor bar you will be able to have original recipe cocktails like their punches in scorpion bowls, hand-shaken daiquiris, and nautical-inspired libations made with housemade mixers. Some of their featured drinks their dark & stormy with spiced Santa Teresa añejo, fresh lime, and ginger beer; and their All Hands on Deck with Scarlet Ibis rum, falernum, honey, pineapple, mint, lime. Get excited this is going to be good, my friends.
Drawing Room in Miami Beach
Shelborne Wyndham Grand South Beach
1801 Collins Ave. | Miami Beach, FL
I understand that you might be hesitant in checking out the Drawing Room because it’s part of a hotel, but wait until you go inside. Just having opened a little over a month ago this super cool lounge offers really crafty cocktails created by Albert Trummer. He is mixing up 10 secret herbal elixirs – like the Opium Essence and the Herbs & Oils from Ancient Italian Monasteries. He also has what he calls the Stress Reliever – the Gin & Tonic from the Market, which has Bombay Sapphire Gin, Herbal Bitterm and it’s infused with select herbs and cucumber. I’ll take two.
Vagabond Hotel Pool Bar in Mimo
7301 Biscayne Blvd. | Miami, FL
“She is The Vagabond Hotel. And she’s waiting for you. Vibrant. Creative. Fun. A newly renovated cosmopolitan mix of all things hassle-free, she’s an urban goddess who lives by her own rules. So from the minute you step into her vibey retro-luxe lobby to the moment you reluctantly say your goodbyes, be prepared for a whirlwind love affair.” You can now enjoy delicious cocktails like their Vagabond Collins, which has vodka, lemon and lime juices and simple syrup with Angostura bitters.
ARTCade in Miami Beach
235 12th St. | Miami Beach, FL
This place is so awesome. Imagine this. You have a craft beer or whisky in hand and you are playing a game of PAC-MAN. Yes, this is real. The newest bar to hit Miami Beach has everything you could ever want in an arcade, except there aren’t children running around and it is totally acceptable to drink. Jackpot!
