The holidays are finally here! Even though, some may say they aren't feeling it too much because of this super intense heat. Either way, whether you are going to be cooking a caja china (like me), or just laying low, here are a few restaurant options in case you want to go out to celebrate how thankful you are for your family!

La Terraza
1109 Brickell Ave. | Miami, FL 33131

This Thanksgiving head over to La Terraza for traditional and Miami style options. For appetizer you can choose between a roasted pumpkin soup or a local avocado salad with grouper escabeche. Then for your entree you can order either a herb butter roasted turkey with dauphinoise potatoes, or a roasted pork and turkey with moro rice. And, lastly, for dessert you can have a fresh baked pecan pie, or a house made quattro leches. This menu is $35.

The Restaurant at The Setai
2001 Collins Ave. | Miami Beach, FL 33139

The Restaurant at The Setai is celebrating Thanksgiving with an elaborate and untraditional brunch and prix fixe dinner menu. On November 26th, The Restaurant at the Setai will feature a Thanksgiving Day themed brunch with three seatings at 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Classic Thanksgiving dishes will be available including Turkey and Ham, Roasted Honey Glazed Leg of Lamb, Creekstone Strip Loin, Truffle Roasted Murray Farm Chicken, and BBQ Kurobuta Bershire Pork Ribs. An extensive array of seafood will be available as well including Alaskan King Crab Legs, Snow Crab Claws, Blue Point Oysters, Mediterranean Mussels, Little Neck Clams, and Shrimps and Cod Ceviche. Lastly, the brunch will feature untraditional dishes including Indonesian Beef Rendang, Indian Lamb Vidaloo, Upma (Indian Polenta), a selection of Indian Tandoori Breads, Traditional Pad Thai, Chicken Panang Curry, Papaya and Florida Mango Salad, Tom Yong Goon, and Singaporean Laksa. 

From 7 p.m. – 10 p.m., The Restaurant at The Setai’s delicious three-course dinner menu gives guests a choice of appetizer, including a Foie Gras “Torchon”, Truffle Dumpling, “Thai Langoustine”, or Pumpkin Velouté. Guests will then choose between Maine Lobster, Roasted Turkey, and Wagyu Striploin. To finish their Thanksgiving meal, guests will have a choice of dessert, including the Vanilla Chai Roasted Pear, with gingerbread sponge, oat crumble, mascarpone crème fraiche gelato; Pumpkin Mousse Roulade, with candied pecans, Pumpkin Seed Brittle, and bourbon ice cream; and variations on chocolate, including bittersweet ganache, whipped white chocolate cream, and dehydrated chocolate mousse with dark chocolate sorbet. db Bistro Moderne

On Thursday, November 26th from 1 p.m. - 9 p.m., db Bistro Moderne invites families and friends to enjoy a three-course, prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner prepared by Chef Jason Pringle that is sure to satisfy from start to finish. The festive menu is filled with seasonal dishes such as Pumpkin Soup with Caramelized Apple, Spiced Crème Fraîche, Traditional Roast Turkey with Chestnut Dressing, Cranberry Chutney Brussels Sprouts, Whipped Sweet Potato, Gravy, and the Green Apple Mille-Feuille with Granny Smith Apple, Butternut Crémeux, Puff Pastry Smoked Vanilla Ice Cream. Embracing in the giving this season brings, db Bistro Moderne will be sending each guest home with a complimentary Turkey Sandwich to-go, to enjoy the following day. The cost is $65 for adults and $35 for children 12 and under.

Steak 954

Stephen Starr’s Steak 954 will be offering a delicious a la carte holiday meal this Thanksgiving. In additional to their regular menu, Chef Nicolay and Pastry Chef Sara Magoon will be presenting seasonal specials like the Turkey Dinner with white or dark meat, turkey sausage stuffing, whipped potatoes and cranberry chutney ($33), Sweet Potato Puree with caramelized marshmallows ($11), Cornbread biscuit, Graphton aged cheddar mornay, charred corn relish ($11) and Pumpkin Souffle with Scotch Caramel, Spiced Pepita ($10). This menu will be available on Thursday, Nov. 26th from 11:00 a.m - 4 p.m. and 5 p.m – 9 p.m.

Bianca at Delano

Leave the work to Delano and indulge in a three-course meal this Thanksgiving at Bianca at Delano. With a pre-fixe menu including the perfect holiday selections from Chef Jason Bamford, your taste buds will be spoiled with the flavorful fall options. Choose from autumn squash soup or mixed petite greens, followed by a traditional turkey dinner or a Delmonico rib eye. Finish off your meal with the perfect Thanksgiving dessert: a warm apple crostata with cinnamon caramel chards and maple pecan gelato. Thanksgiving dinner is priced at $65 per person. Terrazza at Shore Club

In celebration of the holiday Terrazza at Shore Club will hold a special Thanksgiving-themed edition of Chef's Table on Monday, Nov. 16, 2015. Unlike most family-style Thanksgiving dinners the Chef's Table will take guests through Thanksgiving dinner course-by-course for an intimate and interactive experience. Guests will have direct access to Chef Steve Rhee as he prepares nine courses including Pumpkin Purée Soup with Parmesan, bacon and chive and Turkey Roulade with pine nuts, cranberries and creamed kale for a contemporary twist on a Thanksgiving Feast. Gianni’s at The Villa

Just in time for Thanksgiving Pies ‘N’ Thighs, a critically praised Brooklyn-based restaurant, is coming to Miami! The pop-up Pies 'N' Thighs will serve up its signature southern fare including fried chicken and pies that The New York Times lauded as “... honest, american and sweet." Highlights include sour cherry and pecan pies. Owners Sarah Sanneh and Carolyn Bane have an impressive background including stints at Magnolia Bakery, The Spotted Pig and Momofuku Milk Bar. Pies ‘N’ Thighs will take up residence in Mondrian opening Nov. 16, 205 through Jan. 17, 2016. The restaurant will be in addition to Momo Sushi Shack, whose partnership with Mondrian South Beach is confirmed through January 2016. The pop-up is open from Monday, Nov. 16, 2015 to Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016.

The Federal

You can also take a Thanksgiving dinner to-go for 8 people! This includes dishes like a smoked turkey breast, Federal biskits, chorizo stuffing, and coconuts flan or apple cobbler.  Plus, every person receives a welcome glass of champagne upon arrival and cookies to take home!
The Forge
432 W 41st St. | Miami Beach, FL 33140

These guys are offering a prix fixe menu, which starts at 5 p.m. For $75 you can get an autumn green salad, butternut squash soup, herb roasted turkey breast and 24 hour braised dark meat, and spiced pumpkin cheesecake. 

La Mar
500 Brickell Key Dr. | Miami, FL 33131

Delight in Peruvian specialists inspired by the flavors of Thanksgiving from November 19 until November 26 at lunch and dinner. You can enjoy plates like the rocoto relleno, or the jumbo wings. Plus, for dessert you can indulge in a Peruvian chocolate cheesecake, which comes with baked apple ice cream. Yum.

Multiple locations

Guests can pre-order or dine in at restaurants located in Brickell, Aventura and Midtown. A deposit of fifty dollars ($50) for parties up to 6 persons or one hundred dollars ($100) for groups larger than 6 attendees. The deposit is non-refundable unless a cancellation is received in writing by no later than Tuesday, November 24th, 2015. Brickell & Aventura will be open from 2-10pm; Midtown will be open 1-9pm. Menu is $39 per person including one glass of sangria, cabernet sauvignon or chardonnay.
3252 NE 1st Ave. | Miami, FL 33137

Here you are enjoying plates like their ripped endive and radicchio leaves appetizer, their romesco rubbed confit turkey for your entree, and a sweet potato tart for dessert. This menu is available on Nov. 26th from11:30 a.m. to midnight.
Multiple locations

Firs things first, you are greeted with a butternut squash clementine Bellini. Then you get to enjoy braised short rib gyoza, mojo roasted organic turkey, and kabocha cheesecake harumaki. Their special menu  is available at both locations in Coral Gables and Miami Beach; open regular hours, 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Barton G
1427 West Ave. | Miami Beach, FL 33139

This has always been one of my favorite restaurants. Here you can get appetizers like their calabaza pumpkin soup or fall garden salad. And for your entree you can indulge in their herb roasted turkey breast and confit leg. Lastly, for dessert you are having their delicious pumpkin donuts, which come with pumpkin butter, spiced warm chocolate, and cinnamon anglaise. The restaurant will be open from 7 – 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Reservations can be made at www.bartongtherestaurant.com/reservations or by calling (305) 672-8881. And the menu is $65.
Eden Roc Resort
4525 Collins Ave. | Miami Beach, FL 33140

These guys are having a Thanksgiving Day Brunch ($75-95, per person) – From 11am to 5pm on Thursday, November 26, patrons of Eden Roc Resort Miami Beach can pre-game (we won’t tell!) with a Thanksgiving Day brunch, available for $95 (inclusive of alcohol) or $75 (exclusive of alcohol), per person. Children ages 6 – 12, $40, per child; children under the age of five eat free. Highlights include: fresh and local seasonal salad station, a chilled seafood and ceviche bar, as well as local and imported cheeses with chutneys, honey, and flatbreads. As mains, guests can enjoy a carving station with brine and roasted turkey with roulade of stuff thigh; honey and spice glazed roasted pork shoulder serviced with bao buns, accompaniments and sauces; as well as herb and garlic roasted prime rib. And, for dessert, Eden Roc Resort Miami Beach will offer an assortment of holiday classics and pieces.

The Bazaar

The Bazaar by Jose Andres Thanksgiving Day Menu (a la carte pricing) – Dinner will be served at 6pm on Thursday, November 26, and patrons of The Bazaar by Jose Andres can indulge in a lovely Thanksgiving dinner that’s sure to be a culinary delight. Highlights include: Savory mains include traditional treats, a few with a modern twist, including: squash soup with vanilla, curry and Taylor Bay scallops; creamy mushroom rice with wild foraged mushrooms and Idiazabal cheese; Amish farmed turkey, featuring a truffled breast, confit leg and topped with traditional gravy; spiced lamb lion with hazelnut puree, apricot and mushrooms; Blue Nose sea bass accompanied with squash blossoms and fumet; brussels sprouts with lemon puree, apricots, grapes, lemon air and plantains; green bean casserole with matsutake mushrooms, crispy shallots; sweet potato with marshmallow fluff and caramelize pecans; spiced cranberries with Florida citrus and Ceylon cinnamon; Butifarra cornbread stuffing with guindilla and piquillo peppers and pork sausage.
