Every October we unite as a country, and worldwide, to join forces in the fight against cancer. Here in Miami, and South Florida, there are many restaurants, hotels and spas that are joining in on the effort to end breast cancer by creating ways to help donate money towards the cause. Here are just a few I was able to rally up.

If you are feeling a pink cocktail…

Dolce Italian
1690 Collins Ave. | Miami Beach, FL 33139

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, LDV Hospitality’s Dolce Italian (located inside the Gale South Beach) is showcasing one of their signature cocktails, and they have also created a special dessert where a percentage of proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Fund.

The pink cocktail, the Spicy Raspberry Collins, is made with:
1 oz lime
1 oz spicy simple syrup (house made),
2 oz bar spoon raspberry puree,
1 oz ginger beer
2 oz well vodka

Method:
Add lime, spicy simple syrup, bar spoon of raspberry puree, and well vodka into shaker and strain in a Collins glass. Top with ginger beer, ice, and a raspberry and ginger skewer garnish.
